Yes! All bat species can see.
Some have better night vision than others.
British bats have poor night vision (a bit like humans) and rely on their superpower – echolocation.
#7. Why do vultures fly in circles?
Vultures are masters of the sky.
They know how to use rising hot air known as thermals to help them stay in the sky longer and fly even higher.
This helps them to find food as they rely on their keen sight to find food.

New world vultures use their good sense of smell to help them find food.
#8. Do vultures hunt farm animals?
No way!
Vultures get blamed for things they didn’t do! The amazing bearded vulture was almost lost from the Alps because people thought they were hunting farm animals like lambs. But guess what? It wasn’t the vultures at all!

Bats have a super power
Echolocation which helps them to find food and fly around in the dark. They are far more interested in food than bothering us!

No! British snakes DO NOT make nests in peoples houses.
In some countries, like the US, snakes might take shelter inside houses. But snakes in the UK don’t behave this way. British snakes prefer to stay far away from people.
About British Snakes
We have 3 species of snake native in the UK: the grass, the adder and smooth snake.
The grass snake lays eggs that hatch and fend for themselves without protection of parents.
The smooth and adder snake give birth to live young which are left to fend for themselves.
Their priority is to find food and shelter.
