Here's a little about me
I’m Min Dawson, an illustrator and graphic designer based in Banbury, North Oxfordshire. With a first-class honors degree in graphic and media design, I’ve worked in the creative industry for the past 10 years, gaining experience in both print and digital design.
Recently, I’ve merged lessons from my parenting journey with my love for nature and creativity to focus on illustration, surface design and sustainable work.

Unique surface work
I love creating designs for both paper and textiles, with a particular passion for surface design. One of my proudest achievements was collaborating with Planet Wrap It on a sustainable wrapping paper design, which was awarded top spot in The Guardian newspaper’s list of best eco-friendly and sustainable wrapping papers. This project reflects my commitment to combining creativity with sustainability.

I’m currently expanding my wholesale business while seeking new opportunities in surface design, including collaborations with brands for paper, textiles, and other sustainable products.
I’m also eager to partner with educators, science communicators, and purpose-driven brands to support their educational and sustainability goals through creative, thoughtful design solutions.

After having children and discovering the world of special interests, I founded Curious Kin – a creative venture focused on designing resources and illustrated products that celebrate children’s curiosity about our natural world.
My work includes unique learning resources like activity books and printable worksheets, enriched with online content such as videos and audio soundbites to create engaging, educational experiences.
Unique surface design
I love designing for paper and textiles, especially surface design. A highlight is my collaboration with Planet Wrap It on sustainable wrapping paper.
