Meet Min - Curious Kin's founder
Hey there, I’m Miranda aka Min. I’m a SEND mum of 2 curious boys and I know just how much energy they have and how hard it can be to keep up sometimes!
I know what it is like to have a child that sees and feels everything, who is more interested in the finer details than the big picture and will spend a lot of their time hyper-focused on something or another.
Alongside being a mum, I’m also an illustrator and graphic designer with a big passion for nature, the outdoors and child led learning. I’m bundling all of this up to create resources and products that you and your family can use to celebrate all of their curiosity.
The brothers O, who I will shortly introduce are the inspiration behind Curious Kin. Becoming their mum has made me more self aware, eager to learn and adapt, braver and more determined than ever to make Curious Kin a platform that they and other children can use in the future to voice their concerns and dreams about this planets future.

Above you’ll spot my 2 boys, the brothers O as I refer to them on socials – Big O and Little O are very different in personality and see the world in completely different ways and that can be hard to navigate sometimes as a parent. Big O has a strong sense of justice is passionate about the planet and protecting animals but also has his other special interests like Minecraft. Little O is all about the big picture, he’s constantly on the move and is always looking out for his big brother (whether his brother likes it or not!)
Who's missing?
Behind the camera is my husband. He keeps a low profile but he is so important to the running of Curious Kin. He is my anchor, my rock and my biggest cheerleader. I am so grateful I get to navigate the rollercoaster ride of parenthood with him. He is the most amazing dad.
