What's the story behind the design?

As with all of Curious Kin's products, there's always a story!

In German and Ukrainian folklore, there is a Christmas story of spiders who weave a tree-topping web that becomes gold and silver when sunlight strikes it, bringing joy and good fortune to a poor family.
