Here’s a long-sleeved cotton children’s t-shirt with my original illustration of the endearing Hooded Vulture.
They are one of the smallest Old World vultures found across Sub-Saharan Africa, relying on a diet of carrion, flying termites, eggs and poo. They are often found in built-up areas where humans live, and trash is prevalent. Unfortunately, their numbers have critically declined due to several factors, including persecution and habitat loss. There are some charities, including the Hawk Conservancy Trust and the Peregrine Fund, that are working to protect them.
