Have you been to the Oxford Natural History Museum?
If not, it’s a must-visit for any budding palaeontologist. Oxfordshire has played a pivotal role in the development of paleontology over the centuries and stands as a landmark in dinosaur discoveries.
Learn about William Buckland and the first ever dinosaur named by science – Megalosaurus. If that isn’t enough incentive, one of the best ever specimens of Eustreptospondylus was found just down the road from the museum in Summertown!
